The Combi Flare
By Beth Fitzsimmons
The Combi Flare stroller is a hit with parents in urban areas looking for a lightweight stroller that’s easily maneuvered through crowds on city streets. The Combi Flare only weighs 11.6 pounds, but holds children up to 55 pounds. I would best classify the Flare as a top-of-the-line umbrella stroller. Stroller reviews report that it is ideal for traveling in urban areas, through airports and for quick trips to the store. It is not an all-terrain stroller, and as noted by other parents in Combi stroller reviews, it does not maneuver like one on rougher terrains.
I have an umbrella stroller I purchased a few years ago, and I will be the first to tell you that while it does its job….

Out & About (With your child)
By Beth Fitzsimmons
The biggest piece of advice I can give to new and expectant mothers when it comes to quick excursions with your child is to stay positive, but to prepare for the worst. I’ve had many trials and tribulations while taking my children out, but I’ve learned from them and offer this simple advice:
- Travel light—keep extras in the car. When I’m going out with my three children, I pack a light….

Jeep Wrangler All-Weather Umbrella Stroller
By Beth Fitzsimmons
The Jeep Wrangler All-Weather Umbrella Stroller has taken a hit among ratings, with an average of three out of five stars, so I wanted to investigate why this is. Jeep strollers generally rate well in stroller reviews, so it was surprising to me to see this. Umbrella strollers are best to use for errands or quick travel through airports—I wouldn’t recommend them for rougher terrains or day-long excursions.
The biggest safety issue with the Jeep Wrangler All-Weather Umbrella Stroller is its lightweight fabric. Every parent that rated it poorly noted that the fabric that holds the child safely in the umbrella stroller was beginning to rip. As a parent, I know I want to know that the stroller I am placing my child in is well-constructed with quality materials that are durable. This doesn’t seem to….

Graco DuoGlider LX
By Beth Fitzsimmons
I have three children under the age of four, so a double stroller is a must for our family. I currently have what is known as a side-by-side double stroller, and I have grown quite tired of getting stuck in the doorways of Walgreens, and the post office, and just about every other public facility with a narrow doorway. The Graco DuoGlider LX is a tandem double stroller, meaning it has a front and rear seat, making it much easier to maneuver children through the tight spaces of narrow doorways & store aisles. The Graco DuoGlider LX is easy to steer, even while carrying the weight of two children, and its seats are compatible with Graco Snugride infant car seats.
This stroller got great Graco stroller reviews and is popular with parents because of its roomy storage basket, parent tray, ease of folding, and because it doesn’t take….

Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller
By Beth Fitzimmons
Jeep strollers are popular because they have a reputation for being well-made and packed with fun features. Popular features include the “Music on the Move” tray that allows parents to turn the stroller into a stereo using a personal audio device, such as the iPod. It is important to know that the Jeep Overland Limited Jogger is not a stroller intended for everyday use and quick errands. But it is a wonderful jogging stroller meant for outdoor use.
If you’re an athlete that loves to take baby on jogs with you, then this is the perfect stroller. The Overland Limited Jogger is not ideal for….

Graco Vie4 Standard Stroller
By Beth Fitzsimmons
The Graco’s Vie4 standard stroller gets an average rating of four out of five stars in stroller reviews. Parents are singing the praises of this Graco stroller!
The Graco Vie4 stroller is sturdy, as well as lightweight. The fun, bright fabric choices are attractive, and the Vie4 is easy to open and close. According to Graco stroller reviews the Vie4 has a great turning radius and can be pushed through sand and rockier terrains with little effort. As a mother of three children under the age of four, we often venture out, and I can attest to the….
