The Quinny Buzz – It’s Definitely Buzzworthy
By Johanna Clarke
If you’re looking for a stroller that offers both style and functionality, the Quinny Buzz might be right up your alley. Online reviewers have compared the Buzz to a “work of art” that “turns on a dime,” and more often than not, the words “highly recommended” are used somewhere in the review. Quinny seems to have hit a real homerun with the Buzz, which makes sense, since it’s a good, quality stroller for the money.
One thing that seems to be making the Quinny Buzz so popular is its maneuverability; nearly every reviewer mentions it. Great for sneaking around Grandma in the grocery store aisles, rolling across uneven sidewalks, and navigating the busy streets of any city, the Quinny Buzz is apparently a downright treat to push. Folks also love its telescopic handle, which allows both short and tall parents to steer the stroller with ease.
The Quinny Buzz also allows your baby to face either forwards or backwards while seated in the stroller. Many reviewers love this feature, saying it adds a bit of variety to things. I don’t own this stroller, but I’d have to agree. A quick change to the seating arrangement might help calm a child down, or keep the sun out of his or her eyes.
All that being said, as with any stroller, there are, of course, a few cons. Many reviewers seem to agree that the Buzz doesn’t have enough storage space. The basket under the seat is not only small, they say, but also shallow, causing anything that does fit inside to fall out once the stroller starts moving. Other problems mentioned involved the back wheels being too wide and the lack of a one-handed fold up feature.
Overall, though, reviews of the Quinny Buzz were very positive, and it definitely seems to be worth a look if you’re in the market for a new stroller.

Mountain Buggy Strollers – Straight to the Top!
In case you haven’t heard, there’s a line of strollers called Mountain Buggy that’s designed specifically for rougher terrain. My husband and I love hiking in the Sandias—the mountain range near our home in Albuquerque, New Mexico—so when I found out about these buggies, I was really excited to give one a try.
Mountain Buggy makes three different strollers: the Urban, the Urban Duo, and the Swift. I only have one son, so I had to choose between the Urban and the Swift. I checked online and found that they’re similar strollers, but in the end I went with the Swift because it’s lighter than the Urban—I hate struggling with a heavy stroller!
I couldn’t be any happier with my Mountain Buggy purchase! The Swift goes great over the trails that run along the base of the Sandias, and even when we’re in places like the grocery store, it handles like a dream! The Swift’s front wheel can also be locked into place, which is great since I love jogging as much as hiking!
The ride is also so smooth for the baby! I think it’s because of the stroller’s rear-wheel suspension and air-filled tires. When my son falls asleep in our Mountain Buggy, he’s out for over an hour sometimes! The stroller even came with a free air pump to fill the tires up when they’re running a little low!
Our Mountain Buggy Swift also seems to be really durable. It’s made from tough polyester fabric, which is water repellent—in case you happen to get caught in a storm while out hitting the trails. And although the aluminum frame is very light, it stands up well to the wear and tear of our regular hiking trips.
I could go on and on about all the great qualities of Mountain Buggy Strollers, but I’m sure by now you’d like to go ahead and take a look for yourself!

Stroller Canopy Hinge Prompts Graco Stroller Recall
By Tricia Fandrey
On January 20, 2010, the U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission and Graco announced a voluntary stroller recall on 1.5 million Graco strollers due to a canopy hinge causing fingertip amputation and laceration hazards. Graco received reports of children placing their fingertips on the stroller hinge when the stroller was being opened or closed resulting in 5 fingertip amputations and 2 reports of lacerations.
Just the thought of that makes me cringe. Can you just imagine? This is why we need to take necessary steps to make sure that we pay close attention to things that may cause a possible safety hazard when our children are around.
What models are affected: The Graco Stroller recall involves select models of Alano, Graco Passage, Spree Strollers and Travel Systems manufactured by Graco prior March 2008, with a specific type of hinge mechanisms. (No other Graco Strollers are affected by this notice.)
A List of Model numbers can be found at CPSC .
What to do next : Please check your stroller model to verify if your stroller is on the recall list. There is no need to return the stroller to the store, but CPSC suggests you stop using the stroller affected by the recall immediately, and contact Graco. Graco is offering protective stroller hinge covers free of charge too all affected consumers worldwide. No instances have been reported outside the U.S.
You can immediately order the cover you need by filling out the online form found HERE, (just click on picture that corresponds to your hing) or by contacting Graco Mon- Fri. 8-5 pm EST at 1-800-345-4109 (U.S) or 1-800-667-1184 (Canada).
If you know of anyone using these models or have one yourself I encourage you to contact Graco and get the necessary cover needed to ensure safety for little one’s and yourself. It’s good to see Graco acting quickly before any more incidence’s are reported.

Abiie G2G BabyDeck Stroller
By Tricia Fandrey
Looking for a convenient, safe place to change baby while out for a stroll? You’ll find a unique feature in the Abiee G2G BabyDeck Stroller will meet your needs.
Diaper changing stations are loaded with germs and viruses, and when out for the day with baby it’s evident that at one time or another you’ll be changing a diaper or two. Hunting for a safe diaper changing area is such an inconvenience, and many times I can’t find any where with enough privacy, or an existence of a changing station was unavailable in many places.

By Tricia Fandrey
Stroller Reviews wants Maclaren umbrella strollers users to know that Maclaren has announced a voluntarily recall to repair umbrella strollers due to an increased number of fingertip lacerations and/or amputations experienced by consumers in the United States. There have been atleast 15 reports made declaring that children have placed their fingers near the hinge mechanism when the stroller was being unfolded/opened or closed, that have resulted in injury. With that Maclaren U.S.A feels the urgency to recall about 1 million single and double umbrella strollers to avoid any future hazards.
